A wonderful day shared by many people learning about Bees, what they need and what they do.
Children had a wonderful time learning how to do the Bee Dance, the method of communication between bees and giving directions to others as to where the pollen and nectar are waiting to be collected. There were 8 steps along the way and a stamp was obtained at each one. When you had all 8 you were given a smiley face button, a lucky dip prize and went into the draw for a big prize.
Also Pin the Crown on the Queen Bee was well attended.
Some children dressed up before attending and some adults were Tigger and
A story telling corner was cushioned and safe to relax and listen in. Face painting was also there.
Lots of information on bees was around and there were stalls of many types.Back to Gallery
