First prize honey

Out of about 100 entries, ours was chosen as First prize for Suburb honey.

As newcomers to keeping bees and this being our first time of taking honey from the hive we are so surprised and honoured.

The process of keeping bees and all that calls for in caring for them seems to be never ending and we are always learning something new.

One of the members of the Beekeepers Club has been keeping bees for 70 years and he is still learning from them.
