Club Attendance Award
Having 80% of our Club at the District Conference was a wonderful achievement for us and our newest member Ian, was there too. Being his first Rotary Conference, it was great seeing him getting so involved with the whole concept of the Rotary World. It certainly opened his eyes to the great worth of projects being done by the different clubs in our District.
We thought there was a good range of speakers with Rabia Siddique being the highlight as a wonderful speaker with such courage and persistence under adversity. Kristy McKellar with Steve Fontana were also well received by all. Kristy with her self preservation instinct working overtime (especially as a young mother). We are very pleased that she is helping the Police and Law enforcer's to bring protection and justice against family violence.
