Content Item - City of Caulfield Volunteers Award Night 2019
This Award was arranged by Bendigo Bank Caulfield Park and MP David Southwick. Recipients were chosen by groups that they volunteer for and Rotary Club of Caulfield chose Gillian Schofield, artist as our nominee.
Gillian has always been around if we needed anything done, Photo boards for markets and festivals, anything in the art field, helping with BBQ's and helping out in many different ways. We congratulate Gillian on receiving the award.

On a very windy, stormy day late last year, the fence containing about 300 tiles painted by member of the community, preschools, school, disabled, senior citizens and others was blown down.
On 15th May, Artists, Rotarians and a church member restored the artwork to its previous glory.

Opening of the Glen Eira Artists Society Exhibition on 13th April and then daily from 14th April to 1st May.

Wonderful art Exhibition put together by the artists of the Glen Eira Artists' Society. Sponsored by Rotary Club of Caulfield and the Glen Eira City Council.

Attended by a record crowd, a lot of whom revisited many times to check our all the works time and again.
A wonderful atmosphere was felt in the Gallery with GEAS shared with the Cheltenham Glen Eira Artists Society. Peoples Choice awards went to three artists and one voter.

Our Rotary club made up it's usual table to be at the Australia Day Celebrations on Friday 20th January.
This year one of the Glen Eira Artist Society members (GEAS) was a participant in the Citizen of the Year award. We are very proud of Anthony Breslin for going so far and being a runner up. It was a very joyous day for all.
